The 100 m range and 22 lb (about 10 kg) weight were reported for the original SkyWall100 in 2017; OpenWorks does not publish these figures for the current SkyWall Patrol. It is used mainly by police and military security units for event protection, such as Belgian police at a NATO summit and the Dutch Ministry of Defence, not for front-line air defence. It is meant for small quadcopter-class drones at close range.
