The UK MOD says the range is classified and gives precision as hitting a 1 pound coin from a kilometre away, at typically under 10 pounds per shot. In 2025 Hebrides trials it downed drones flying at up to 650 km/h, and a 316 million pound contract (Nov 2025) puts it on a Type 45 destroyer from 2027. It has not been used in combat, and the 3.4 km sometimes quoted is a test-range safety limit, not a weapon range.
